




Ann started her professional career in Dance many years ago studying with the Joffrey Ballet School in NYC and attending Butler University as a Dance major where she studied all forms of dance ,Physiology,Anatomy. She then moved back to NYC and went on to perform as a Professional Dancer all over the world and was a Former Rockette.
Her whole life changed when she injured her hip and had to end her dance career.She ended up having a hip replacement and while recovering from the surgery decided to try hot yoga.Her yoga practice and her hip became stronger every day.She decided to get trained in Hot Yoga and run her own studio where she could introduce both hot yoga, vinyasa, ballet, and children's yoga.She has been teaching dance and yoga for over 10 years.Ann's extensive dance background gave her such great discipline and focus. She continues to inspire all her students to reach new levels everyday in their Yoga practice here at Colts Neck Yoga.
Mission Statement- I hope to introduce yoga to as many people as I can and hope that they feel the healing aspects of yoga in mind, body, and spirit.
Cristal Sharma
Cristal first found yoga while earning her accounting degree at Boston University. Her strong practice, passion and desire to share yoga with others evolved into her being trained by Jimmy Barkan in his Level II Hot Vinyasa Teacher Training and Baron Baptiste in his Power Yoga Teacher Training. She has further deepened her understanding of yoga through workshops with Rodney Yee, David Swenson and Shiva Rea. Yoga is a healing and empowering aspect of her life which she tries to incorporate in each class. She is excited to be teaching Hot Yoga and Vinyasa here at Colts Neck Yoga.
Pooja Sharma
After completeing her MBA and MPH in Health System Policies,Pooja spent the last 5 years working in the healthcare industry. She has completed the radiant Child Program (RCYP) levels 1 and 2, is a RCYP facilitator and enjoys sharing the healing aspects of yoga. She is very excited to be teaching Children's yoga for the second year at Colts Neck Yoga.
Delynn Schecher
After practicing yoga for over 8 years, DeLynn decided to take her yoga journey further by becoming a certified instructor. In March of 2006 she received her 200 hour teacher training certification from Freehold Yoga Center in New Jersey. Since then, she has completed Sean Corne's Vinyasa Intensive Teacher Training and regularly attends workshops on vinyasa, chakra, meditation and pranayama. She is registered with the Yoga Alliance.She is the newest teacher here at Colts Neck Yoga and will be a welcome member of our team.
